Who Wants to Be a MIllionaire? Hello…Anybody Out There? Idaho Million Dollar Winning Ticket Holder Has Until 6 p.m., Sept. 2 to Claim Cash
Hello. Hello.
Anybody out there?
Someone holding an Idaho Powerball ticket is about to lose $1,000,000 unless the ticket is turned in by end of day, Sept. 2.
Time is of the essence for the holder of the ticket to come forward and claim their $1 million prize,” Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson said in a release Wednesday.
“At the close of business tomorrow … if no one has brought the ticket in for validation, the ticket will expire and we will be unable to pay the claim.”
The winning ticket: 10, 29, 33, 41, and 59. Powerball number was 15.
First five numbers matched, but not Powerball. But ticket had the “PowerPlay” feature, making it an automatic $1 million winner.
This is not the first time in Idaho….
In 2008, nobody came forward to collect a $200,000 prize in the Powerball game.
So c’mon people. It’s hard enough winning. Beating the odds. You gotta not throw away a ticket until you’ve checked to see if you’ve won.
