Two Euro Millions’ Winners Share Top Prize, Take Home 26.1 Million Euros Each ($37.4 Million USD)

Two lucky winning ticket holders, in France and the UK, will each be taking home a top prize of 26.1 million euros (about $37.4 million in U.S. dollars) after the Jan. 16 draw.
The U.K. winner is the third biggest prize ever in the U.K.
Now, the report from the National newspaper, the Star, in the U.K.
According to the folks who run Euro Millions, the unnamed Brit was preparing to take delivery of the life-changing £26,151,124.20 when banks open tomorrow morning.
Once the claim has been officially validated, the winner will have to decide whether or not to go public with the news.
A National Lottery spokesman said: “We are looking forward to welcoming this ticket holder to our millionaires’ club which is already 2,350 strong.
“This latest winner continues the nation’s great run of luck with big EuroMillions winners in the past few years.” Friday’s lucky numbers were: 11, 26, 29, 49 and 50 and the Lucky Star numbers were 4 and 7.
The windfall comes just weeks after a South Wales couple and a syndicate from Liverpool each walked off with whopping £45.5million jackpots.
EuroMillions tickets are sold in the UK, Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.
Congratulations, whomever you are.

The £26.1million nest egg would earn more than £50,000 each month in gross interest in a savings account offering a 4.5% return.
