Jackpots On the Rise; Mega Millions to $86 Million, Powerball to $51 Million
There were no jackpot winners in America’s two multi-state games, but in Europe two winning tickets will share a 54 million euro jackpot. Those tickets were bought in France and the U.K. (they get about $26.1 million euros each).
The Powerball numbers on Jan. 17 are 7,8,23,41,55 and Power ball 23. Two tickets matched the first five numbers and they are worth $200,000 each. The tickets were bought in Kentucky and South Carolina.
The Jan. 20 Powerball jackpot is $51 million.
The Jan. 16 Mega Millions winning numbers are 4,7,19,21,38 and Mega ball 29.
13 tickets matched the first five numbers. 3 tickets bought in California are each wotth $204,969. The other 10 are each worth $250,000. They were bought in Georgia, Michigan (2 winners), New Jersey, New York (3), Ohio (2) and Washington state.
The Jan. 19 Mega Millions jackpot is $86 million.
