The Vacation of a Lifetime; Florida Visitor Wins $1,000,000 Playing Scratch Ticket
Whenever I go on vacation, I’ll play the lottery in that state. Dunno…guess it’s an obsession. But I’ve read too many stories like the one I’m about to tell you.
It’s about a Pennsylvania woman on vacation in Florida who won $1 million playing a scratch game ticket.
Talk about taking home a souvenir from your vacation.
The game was BILLION DOLLAR BLOCKBUSTER. The winner, Joy Thompson, 59, of Brownsville, PA.
Thompson and her husband were on their way to visit family when she bought a ticket from a grocery store in N. Fort Myers. “I always play when I visit, but this is the first time I’ve won,” she later said.
The lump sum payout, which she chose, was worth $650,000.
