The tickets were bought in Illinois (2 winning tickets), Maryland (2), Michigan, New Jersey (3), New York (3) and Washington state.

In Paris, the Euro Millions draw on Oct. 2 did not produce a jackpot winner, so the 15 million euros top prize grows to 26 million euros (about $46 million, U.S.) on Oct. 9.

The winning Euro Millions numbers are 22,23,24, 29,44 and the two lucky stars are 1,5.

The Powerball jackpot on Oct. 3 is the largest currently in the world, at $193 million.
