Powerball Jackpot Nearing $200 Million Mark; Mega Millions Tops $100 Million
Both multi state jackpots are hitting the stratosphere this weekend.
The Powerball jackpot on Oct. 3 is worth $193 million. Six tickets nationwide hit 5 of 6 numbers, only missing the Powerball. Those tickets are each worth $200,000, except for one ticket in Oregon. That ticket buyer Power Played their bet and won $1 million. The other five tickets were bought in Arizona (2 tickets, each worth $200,000), Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The Mega Millions jackpot on Oct. 2 is $105 million.
The Euro Millions jackpot, meanwhile, on Oct. 2 is 15 million euros, or about $22 million, U.S.
