Caroline Rich, from Marietta, Georgia, is rich in more ways than just her name.
A real estate recruiter, she recently won $1 million playing a game called “World Class Millions.”
One recent day, she was feeling lucky, so she asked her son-in-law to run to the store and purchase a ticket. Old Mountain Park CITGO, in Roswell, sold the lucky ticket.
“I was feeling it,” she later told lottery officials.
Indeed.
Both she and her son-in-law were elated when they realized it was a winner.
“Nobody slept,” the grandmother of four said. “We were talking all night on the phone.”
A mother of two adult children, Rich intends to share the winnings with her son-in-law.
“I’d love to pay off my homes and pay off my bills,” she said. “I’d also love to take a cruise on a five-star cruise line.”
