Connecticut Powerball Player Wins $1 Million; Mega Millions Jackpot Sitting at $252 Million
There was no Powerball jackpot winner on Aug. 22, so the jackpot rises to $25 million on Aug. 26. But one lucky player picked 5 of 6 numbers AND Power Played their bet. That means the ticket is worth $1 million.
The winning numbers on Aug. 22 are 3,6,20,32, 51 and Power ball 23. The Power Play multiplier is 5.
3 tickets hit 5 of 6. The CT ticket, worth $1 million, and tickets from North Carolina and Florida. The NC ticket and FLA ticket are each worth $200,000.
Meanwhile, a $252 million jackpot awaits a lucky ticketholder on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
And in Europe, the two winners of the 75 million Euro Millions game on Aug. 21 bought their tickets in France and Belgium. We’ll see who steps forward with those tickets.
