Lottery History Made in Connecticut as First Grand Prize Winner of Lucky-4-Life Game Steps Forward

Lottery history was made in Connecticut, recently, when Torrington resident Kenneth Blount, became the first top prize winner of $2,000 a week for the rest of his life in the CT Lottery’s new draw game, Lucky-4-Life.
I had a chance to talk on the phone with Kenneth recently and never have I met a more gracious and grateful winner.
The June 8, 2009 winning combination drawn was 02-11-19-30, and the Lucky Ball was 25. His pick was a Quick Pick.
According to Blount, who manages a wine shop, he will continue to work, and has no plans on leaving his job.
“I’ve been working since I was 13,” he told me. “And I like my current job, so why would I stop?”
GAMES I PLAY:
The August 4 Mega Millions game carries an $84 million jackpot.
The August 5 Powerball game offers a HUGE jackpot of $138 million.
Good luck to everyone playing around the world.
