Lottery Jackpots On the Rise Around the World
Big money jackpots are definitely on the rise this week, as there were no top prize winners in the most recent Powerball, Mega Millions and Euro Millions games.
The July 25 Powerball winning numbers are 5,17,33,46,52 and the Powerball is 9. The Power Play multiplier is 5.
7 tickets hit the first five numbers and each ticket, except where indicated, is worth $200,000.
Those tickets were bought in Colorado (two tickets matched five), Florida, Louisiana ($1 million, because the ticket holder Power Played their bet), Missouri, Oregon ($1 million) and Pennsylvania.
The next game, July 29, carries a $102 million jackpot, the largest jackpot currently offered in the world.
The July 28 Mega Millions offers a $60 million jackpot.
The July 31 Euro Millions top prize is 28 millon euros, or about $40 million, in U.S. dollars.
