To those who emailed me over the weekend, I missed my Sunday blog due to illness.

No, it wasn’t the fact that I did not win the Powerball game. I was just sick.

But I’ll tell you one guy who isn’t sick today. A Warthen auto mechanic named Jimmy May, 49, who won a $250,000 prize playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Millionaire Jumbo Bucks.

“I scratched it in my office,” he said.

He bought his ticket at Busy Food Mart in Sandersville, Georgia.

“I had to look at it two or three times,” May said. “I feel wonderful, that’s all I can say.”

The lucky lottery winner has two children with his wife Theresa. He has no immediate plans for his winnings.

GAMES WE PLAY:

The July 21 Mega Millions jackpot is $37 million.

The July 22 Powerball jackpot has risen to #74 million.

For those who didn’t check their July 18 numbers, the winning numbers are 4,21,26,28,47 and the Power ball is 37.

The July 24 Euro MIllions game is worth 15 million euros. There was one winner on July 17 and that ticket was bought in Portugal.

Good luck, winners around the world.

MY BOOK:

Still on sale at amazon and through the publisher. If you want an autographed copy, let me know.

And, if you have a local radio station nearby that often has guests, just give me the call letters and the name of the show and I’ll contact them. I’ve been on a lot of radio and I’d love to be in YOUR town.
