Drive, She Said: Florida Lottery Second-Chance Winner Takes Home a Ford Mustang V6 Convertible

It began as the ultimate Florida baseball weekend.
And ended with a woman winning a Mustang convertible.
Remember how a few weeks ago, I talked about second-chance drawings and the better odds when you participate in those contests?
Well, a few days ago, Florida announced the results of the final contest in their Mustang Money Home Run Getaway Second Chance promotion.
On June 27, 10 finalists received a chance to win lottery prizes as they each scratched oversized $250,000 Mustang Money scratch games.
All finalists won cash prizes and two tickets to the Florida battle between the Marlins and Rays. They also got spending money and hotel accommodations.
But only one person drove away with a new car: Josephine Harris of Jacksonville.
There were 225,000 entrants. Sounds like a lot, but when you consider the odds in many other lottery games, not so bad at all.
GAMES WE PLAY:
The June 30 Mega Millions jackpot is $94 million.
The July 1 Powerball jackpot is $20 million.
The July 3 Euro Millions jackpot is 28 millions euros (about $39 million, U.S.)
Good luck players, around the world.
