Lottery Jackpot Winners Celebrate in North Carolina, Portugal
There have been TWO big jackpot winners over this past weekend. On June 19, in Paris… the Euro Millions draw produced one 15 million euros winner, with the ticket bought in Portugal.
The winning numbers are 4,16,17,20,29 and the two lucky stars are 5,7.
7 tickets hit five numbers and ONE lucky star. Those tickets are each worth 423,964 euros.
6 tickets hit five numbers and NO lucky stars. Those tickets are each worth 140,367 euros.
On June 20, one lucky ticketholder (could be a pool, of course) hit the $86 million Powerball jackpot.
Someone in the tar heel state is having a very happy Father’s Day.
The winning numbers are 3,11,18,22,28 and Power ball 33. The Power Play multiplier is 2.
[Confession: I picked the Power ball on my own card... but that's it. Just won $3.]
12 tickets around the country hit five numbers, but not the Power ball.
Those tickets were bought in:
Colorado ($200,000 winner), Connecticut ($1 million, because the ticket was Power Played), Indiana ($200,000), Iowa ($200,000), Minnesota ($200,000), Missouri (two tickets, each worth $200,000), Nebraska ($1 million), North Carolina ($200,000), Pennsylvania ($200,000), South Dakota ($200,000) and Tennessee ($1 million).
Congratulations, every winner around the world.
And to the U.S. winners, a very happy Father’s Day to everyone.
Later today, I’ll list the top 10 jackpots currently in play around the world.
Hint: Mega Millions, at $68 million, is the top jackpot right now. The next draw of that game is June 23.
