Lottery Winner in Trouble with Locals for Opening a “Nude Dude Ranch”

You gotta love America, where weird crap like this happens all the time in the Lottery world.

Tim Clements, 50, won more than $4.5 million in Ormond Beach, Florida, six years ago but became fed up with strangers asking him for money, so he bought a secluded ranch on the other side of the state.

Clements, a retired hairdresser, and co-owner David Jennings named it the “CJ Dude Ranch”, taking the first letter of each man’s surname.

“I just named it for us two dudes,” he said to the St Petersburg Times newspaper.

But Clements’ quiet life has again been put on hold after he and Jennings opened up a bed-and-breakfast on the ranch and made it “clothing optional”.

In other words, a nude dude ranch.

When his neighbours learned of the set-up they complained to local authorities, citing a legislation enacted in 2002 that bans nudity in public.

The business is now under investigation and could be shut down.

“God blessed me with a gift,” Mr Clements said. “All I wanted to do was have a place to play and I was so far hidden, I didn’t even think about it.” “I just thought I was creating a cute little 10-acre dude ranch.”

Cute? Dudes? Nudes?
