Powerball Jackpot Skyrockets Up to $120 Million on Saturday, Jan 10
This is getting interesting.
There were no jackpot winners (and few Match 5 winners) in last night’s Powerball draw, so the jackpot rises to $120 million on Saturday night.
The winning numbers drawn were 21,31,33,38,52 and the Power ball was 24.
The Power Play multiplier was 5.
Four players hit the first five numbers and not the Power ball. Each of those tickets is worth $1 million, under the new rules.
Those tickets were bought in Louisiana, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.
25 tickets hit four of the first five numbers and are worth $10,000 each.
4 tickets hit four of the first five numbers AND chose the Power Play option. Those tickets are worth $50,000 each.
Overall there were 658,860 winning tickets.
As I said above, Saturday’s jackpot rises to $120 million.
Friday’s Mega Millions game carries a $16 million jackpot.
Friday’s Euro Millions game carries a 53 million Euro jackpot.
Good luck, everyone.

It reminded me of the famous quote: “Much that passes as idealism is disguised hatred or disguised love of power.” (Bertrand Russell)
