Lottery Alert: Powerball Jackpot Rises to $105 Million on Jan. 7

There was no jackpot winner in the Jan. 3 Powerball game, so next Wednesday’s jackpot rises to an eye-popping $105 million.

4 tickets matched the first five numbers. Two of the four Power Played their bets and those tickets are each worth $600,000 ($200,000 X 3). The other three are each worth $200,000.

Those tickets were bought in Indiana ($600,000), New Mexico ($200,000), Pennsylvania ($200,000) and Wisconsin ($600,000).

Congratulations to the big winners.

In the Euro Millions game on Friday night, I’ve gotten some further results. There was no winner, so Friday, Jan. 9’s game has a jackpot worth approximately 51 million Euros, or about $70.7 million, U.S.

There were five second tier winners, who correctly hit five of the first five numbers, but only 1 of the 2 lucky stars. Each of those winning tickets is worth 632,112 Euros, or $875,695 U.S. Those tickets were bought in the U.K. (two winning tickets), Spain, France, Portugal and Ireland.
