Lottery Moments

Normally, this space is about winners and winners stories, but the Mega MIllions jackpot is rising to the  level where people are literally crossing state borders to play. There is that much interest in the game.

With that in mind, come Friday, I’ll try to go over some hot and cold numbers, again… and let’s see what we can do from this end to make you some money. I’ll also offer some other lottery strategy tips.

Meanwhile, here is the wrap up on Tuesday’s game: No jackpot winner, so the Friday draw has a $146 million jackpot.

The winning numbers were 2,17, 22, 32, 51 and the Mega ball was 35.

Eight tickets matched the first five numbers, each winning $250,000. Those tickets were purchased in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Virginia.

Fifty three tickets hit four of the five numbers and the Mega ball. Those tickets paid off $10,000 each.

Overall, there were 972,698 winning tickets. They won a total of $6,592,473.

Tonight’s Powerball game has a $25 million jackpot in play.

Friday night’s Euro Millions jackpot is 15 million Euros.
